The End of Photography As We Know It!

Journalist

Buying Photographs

I met the eminent journalist Shane Starling for coffee and philosophy, and a farewell as he left to start a new life in Montpellier, France. He could feel the Mediterranean taking hold of him.

Words of wisdom were followed by unprovoked flaunting of money in the face of bemused coffee drinkers.Shane displayed a profound desire to part with his money! In return, he estimated a photographic print or two of Gaza. The power of photography!

I was certainly moved to anguish when Bip announced the price of his work. Not really – they are very good and I look forward to mounting them in separate frames and putting them on a wall in my new flat in Montpellier.
