Breitling Transocean vintage watch movement
A fine example of a hand wound Valjoux movement on a c. 1970’s Breitling Transocean chronograph.
Check out the Breitling website to see airbrushed versions of their ‘instruments for professionals’, and their history streaming back in time to 1884.
Breitling was founded by Léon Breitling in 1884 (he was 24 years old). The company specialised in producing chronographs, now famous in the world of aviation, with added support from John Travolta. The ‘Emergency’ models are able to send out a radio signal if lost!
