Deutsche Borse Photography Prize 2008 Winner

This is where photography becomes art! It is regarded as a prestigious international arts award. The exhibition will be held at The Photographers’ Gallery in London.

The winner is Esko Männikkö of Finland.

I looked through some images in The Female Pike by Esko Männikkö. I think I like his work.
I  come across some of his work on artnet website. They were images of horses, birds… i didn’t like those. I wonder if people buy those prints. His documentary work is much more interesting.
