Interior Photography Without Flash

Image was shot in a shopping centre in Wigan for Design LSM.

INterior photography

It had to be shot after closing time, and in time for the manager to get to her bangers and mash! A really busy space it can be difficult to see the wood for the trees with every space rammed with clothing.

It would have been interesting to have turned down the lights in the display units in the background to see the effect on the main counter. Dimmer switches can be very helpful if you have an assistant, it’s an opportunity to cut down on hotspots. Going higher up on this shot would have revealed too much mess behind the counter.
