Progress, and photo shoot
Leaving the golf shoot aside for a moment… two days work this week have been postponed until January 2008. I have to chase a couple of payments as the overdraft is reaching its limit!
I’ve been doodling more notes on setting up a studio space, probably out of town, to tout for bigger studio based product photography jobs, and whether that’s a feasible strategy. I have approached a few photographers but they aren’t interested in joining in. Speaking to young Adam to see if he is interested in assisting me when some big jobs come in.
Monday was the last day of shooting for the housing association. I drove to Whitechapel on Sunday night and stayed with Larry. Drove up to Wood Green, north London (40 minutes) on Monday morning and photographed two guys. Then drove to Southwark and photographed six people. This was meant to be a group shot but there was no space to make that happen so I photographed hem individually and will montage them together using Photoshop. I need to edit and clean up the images now.
I got an email telling me that the chap in charge of the Occupied Territories will decide soon whether to exhibit my Gaza Strip photographs at the Amnesty HQ , or not.
