Documentary photography news

I enquired about having an exhibition of images I shot in the Gaza Strip at Amnesty International’s new office in east London. They are interested so I have to prepare some images and send them on a CD. I made a PDF slide presentation but the transitions are stuck on a sliding effect and I just want one image to dissolve into the next. Might just end up sending jpegs on a disc.

It’s not usual for them to display photographs via a random enquiry. They have offered me a space, depending on whether they agree with the images, in March 2008, coinciding with a major report on the ‘Occupied Territories’.

There is room for about 7 large images, and more if they decide to use display screens. It’s not a space for the general public, so only visitors going beyond reception will see the work in any detail. You never know who might see the work!
